Mr. Cruz has been involved in the insurance industry since 1979 focusing on Risk Management in various industries including the heavy construction sector for the last 20 years. His duties include not only risk management but claims management, loss control & safety. Mr. Cruz graduated with honors from the University of El Turabo in Puerto Rico with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He holds Certified Risk Management (CRM) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations from the National Alliance for Insurance Education. He is an active member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society and serves as a member of the AIG Construction Advisory Board .
