Born in Cuba, Albert arrived in Miami when he was six years old. Following the footsteps of his father, a builder, and his uncle, an architect and a builder, Albert learned the trade at an early age and became intrigued by the intricacies of architecture and building design. This early exposure to design issues and how they translate to field conditions fueled his quest for knowledge and paved the way to a career in architecture.

Albert founded Corwil Architects in 1992. Since its inception, the company has distinguished itself for innovative designs which are created to meet the Owner’s goals in programmatic, scheduling and budgetary constraints. He has assembled a very detailed oriented team of professionals who share in his passion for design and field practicality. To this date, he still consults with his father, uncle and other experienced builders.

A family man, Albert also considers himself blessed to have five wonderful kids who visit the office on a regular basis starting their own quests to futures unknown.
