Alexander Perez, CPA is a manager with Goldstein Schechter Koch with over 10 years of experience in both public accounting and private business. Alex was previously with Deloitte & Touche, LLP and gained significant experience in the areas of auditing, consulting, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Alex received his bachelors and masters degree in accounting from Florida International University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Virginia and the State of Florida and his focus has been on current accounting issues and the correct application of current GAAP. Alex is also a key member in the management of our audit department and has extensive knowledge of the reporting and disclosure requirements of public and non-public companies, as well as not-for-profit organizations. Alex is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
