Vivian de las Cuevas-Diaz | Directors

Ms. Vivian de las Cuevas-Diaz is Partner in the Miami office of Broad and Cassel. She is a member of the Firm's Real Estate and Special Assets Practice Groups.
 
Ms. de las Cuevas-Diaz has extensive experience in complex real estate transactions, for both private and public clients. She also has experience in commercial lending.
 
She has represented clients in the sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties, commercial leasing and related transactions, secured lending, mezzanine lending, commercial lending representation, title
insurance, and developer representation.
 
Ms. de las Cuevas-Diaz has successfully represented numerous developers in the purchase and loan of multi-million dollar properties, including the $25 million dollar purchase of 300 high-end Sunny Isles condominiums, a $15 million dollar Brickell Avenue office building, a $15 million dollar Miami Beach office building, and a $25 million dollar property in Doral.
 
A graduate of Florida State University, Ms. de las Cuevas-Diaz went on to receive her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Tulane Law School in 2000. During her tenure in New Orleans, she held several leadership positions
and received numerous honors. She served as President and Conference Chair for the International Law Society from 1997-2000, and was also a member of the European Civil Law Journal.
 
Recently, Ms. de las Cuevas-Diaz was appointed to the Enterprise Florida Board of Directors by Florida Speaker of the House, Marco Rubio.
 
She is also fluent in Spanish.
 
Ms. de las Cuevas-Diaz is an active member of the community, and serves on the Board of Directors for The Cuban American Bar Association and The Latin Builders Association. Her civic participation includes The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, The Junior League of Miami, The Builders Association of South Florida, and The Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
